Standard Back to Back Installation

Note if your installation falls outside the standard installation you will need to purchase extra products and services. Once you buy your Hitachi Heat Pump, your contractor will give you a call to confirm your installation price before the job commences.

Standard installation summary

• Supply and install all Gas Pipework up to 3m ground level and 5m level 1, (additional pipe $57 per m ) 
• Interconnect Cables and Gravity fed drain
• Wired to power with electrical Certificate of compliance.
• Once commissioned we will demonstrate how to use your Heat Pump.
• Fill in your warranty form 

Labour Includes

Installation of the indoor unit and outdoor unit opposite to each other (Back to Back). Our installer will require clear access internally and a clear flat area externally. Standard home construction brick veneer, timber frame with a ceiling cavity. Extras labour charges will apply to drill through double brick construction, concrete panel type or limited ceiling space (for electrical circuit back to the switchboard

Level G and one installation only on private premises. Please note, we do not deal with your Body Corp. Should you need their permission for installation, we need a copy of their agreement in writing before installation 

Material Included

• Insulated R410a Gas Pipe (copper), as per pricing structure above - for low and high set homes up to 5M
• Interconnecting cables, from internal Heat Pump head to external compressor
• Gravity fed Drain hose, constant Flexi drain.
• UV resistant trunking Duct, 1 x Duct and 1 x Wall Caps, in cream plastic. 90mm sized ( 100mm hi-flow extra )
• Electrical Certificate of Compliance
• 2 x 450mm x 450mm concrete pavers for the outdoor unit
• All fixings
• Testing, commissioning, and handover
• Your system will be entered into our database and once a year you will be contacted for a service

Not Included 

• Supply of Heat Pump not included.
• Decommissioning and removal of existing Heat Pump - charges apply –consult with your installer for this
• Installation of Heat Pumps in locations other than specified herein-charges will apply
• Installation of the indoor unit on an internal wall,  Extra charges will apply for a condensate lift pump and extra piping
• Additional travel charges may apply.
